5 Books With Stab Worthy Endings

2:21:00 PM

For today's post I thought it would be fun (more painful then fun) to share some book's with you that have, horrible, heart-breaking, and truly stab-worthy endings!

Don't worry this post is spoiler free! So keep reading!
1. Looking for Alaska This book made me cry, for hours, I swear, I had to stop reading. The actual dramatic (soul shattering) plot twist, happened somewhat near the middle of the book. It was traumatizing, it made me hate the world, and it made me want to scream at the top of my lungs. This event changed the entire book, and (ruined my life) strongly affected the ending. But one thing is for sure, despite the horrendous things it did to my feels, I love this book, and what John Green did was pretty courageous!

2. Red Queen the plot twist was like someone punched me right in the feels, hard. It left me speechless, standing there like an idiot. Honestly, if I didn't care about books as much as I do (they're like my babies) I would have thrown it at the wall. The anger and sadness I felt was quite overwhelming. Luckily its not the last book, and hopefully the next book will calm my feels.

3. Allegiant an obvious choice but still a book with at heart-stopping ending. I don't understand why, and I never will understand how Veronica Roth could do this too me.

4. Maze Runner: Book 3: The Death Cure The ending wasn't horrible, in all honesty it was quite good! What happened was quite satisfying... well almost. One (horrible, painful) thing happened, obviously I can't say it, no matter how much I want too, because spoilers are gross. Throughout the book I wanted this to happen, but then when it did, it wasn't very good (not one bit) However that was only a small portion of the ending... if that makes any sense. The rest was quite dandy.
5. Will Grayson, Will Grayson the ending wasn't too bad. But the book had messed with my mind so much my brain was over loaded. With the whole plot twist playing tricks on me I was still a little in that whaaaat phase, even though it had happened a while ago. In general I liked the ending, similar to the Death Cure, but it was a little... strange. Fabulous. But Strange.

Do you agree/disagree? What is a book with a horrible ending that you have read? Comment below!

  1. AHH I'VE READ THEM ALL!! *hi five self* XD I agree that Allegiant was just...omg, mind shattering?! I was numb when I finished. I couldn't believe it basically. And The Death Cure REALLY HURT. OMG. I was expecting one of the deaths because darn spoilers on facebook >_> But the death right in the last few chapters just kinda...knocked me down. OMG. *BREAKS DOWN SOBBING*
I do like a really heart wrenching ending though, because it makes me remember the book. XD

  2. I couldn't agree more with this post! Though in all honesty The Death Cure wasn't my favourite and I was more angry with the ending (hence the stab worthy-ness XD) Looking for Alaska and Allegiant broke my heart into a thousand pieces, not okay.
Anyways, I really enjoyed this post and can't wait to see more! I'm a new follower :)
